It’s always great to be in Hawaii. It’s even better when someone goes beyond and that’s how we feel about this place. The food is amazing and the prices are typical of the surrounding area. The people are what make a visit here special. Shoutout to Ariel! Super polite, professional and oh so personable. Her smile is contagious and it’s obvious she loves her job. As always, our stay in Hawaii is too short but you can bet Tommy Bahama’s will be on the top of our list to visit next year!

Tommy Bahamas has the atmosphere you're looking for and delicious food. Our group went on a Friday evening and chose to be seated outside on the patio. Everything was perfect all the way down to the musician playing acoustic guitar outside. He played music loud enough to be heard, but soft enough to speak over. I wish music would be played that tastefully everywhere when dining out. Everyone walked away with complete appreciation for the entire experience. 👏

We sat at the bar as we decided last minute to try to get a table since we were in the area, (at about 5pm on a Wednesday) and they told us they were booked for the night, although there seemed to be a fair amount of tables that stayed open during our hour or so there. The drinks were pretty good, but the food was just so-so. The coconut shrimp was just alright, and the french fries ($9 for a side of fries...come on) tasted like freezer fries and were served with a basic ketchup. Not super impressed. None of the entrees sounded like they were worth the $40-50 after tasting a couple of the appetizers, so we ended up skipping that and going somewhere else for dinner.
