This was a great experience. We arrived for a late-night dinner and had a great time. We were running late for the reservation and the staff was very accommodating. We arrived and had a window seat upstairs which was perfect for a romantic start to our evening. The server was especially helpful in helping us make the right selections and ensuring our late arrival didn't end up being a rushed dinner. I can't say enough about the staff, they are the best! And the food, it goes without saying, the food here is always perfect. Although it might be considered a chain, it has a local upscale vibe. Love it!

I got to try Truluck's in Austin downtown for the first time on my Birthday and I had the perfect, most memerable experience. I can not thank the host enough for accommodating my multiple changes to my reservation. The valet for taking care of our car immediately. Our waitress was outstanding, honest with menu items and just had an absolute great personality with professionalism. The food exceeded my expectation as a seafood lover, it was absolutely perfect. Everyone was wishing me a Happy Birthday. At the end of our meal they presented a Happy Birthday desert with my name on it. I appreciate the little touches and the atmosphere was very relaxing and upscale. It is sometimes very hard to find little gems like this in a city you are not familiar with. If you love seafood and a quiet relaxing upscale atmosphere, this is definitely the perfect spot for you.

Fine dining at its best. Celebrated an anniversary here and from doorway to dinner table we were greeted and congratulated at every interaction. Our waiter was very attentive and knowledgeable. Paired our wines and offered recommendation based on our cravings that day. All staff worked together to maintain decorum (things like maintaining place settings, napkin folds, and always clean tables). The food tasted immaculate and was exceptionally prepared and served. I look forward to going back for future meals and celebrations.
