Cute little restaurant! The food was good. Will have to try some other dishes. Love the chips and salsa! Staff was awsome and made you feel comfortable and not rushed to eat like some places. Very relaxing!

I had been driving all day, and when I finally pulled into a hotel for the night I was worried that I'd missed any chance to eat. I stopped at Agave Azteca, even though they were preparing to close and asked sheepishly if they could still serve. Staff were not impolite, but they were understandably done for the day. Everything had been cleaned and they were getting ready to head out. BUT, the wonderfully kind woman behind the counter pulled them all together, handed me a menu, and encouraged me to order. From that point forward, everyone was great. It was the type of kindness you can only hope for. As if that was not enough, the food was excellent. I had fantastic seafood burritos in a well-seasoned white sauce, rice & beans, and some really delicious chips. I live in the southwest and eat authentic Mexican food every week. This rivaled the best of those meals. The hot sauce was also a standout... if you like it truly spicy. Great food and kind people. Please check it out. You'll be very glad you did.

We have been eating here for 3 years and LOVE it. We’ve never had a bad experience. The food is always very good and the service is amazing. We’ve noticed only 2 people work on the floor. We assume it’s because they are the only ones that work there, or they’re the owners. They treat us like family. It is a bit out of our way, but we continue to eat there because of the great service and food and because we want a small business like that to survive, especially since the world has gone crazy. We too have a small restaurant and have had a major struggle trying to keep our doors open when many are trying so hard to get rid of small businesses like ours. The negative reviews on here shock me, as we have never had a bad time there. My guess is if you didn’t like it, you don’t like anything, and if you think your waitress was rude, you were probably rude first and deserved what you got. People treat wait staff like they’re not human all the time. They’re working hard, just like you. I’m sure you’re providing a service in some capacity at your job, so be kind to the ones bringing you food. Have grace and patience in this clown world. Try Agave Azteca, it’s delicious!!!
