We chose this restaurant for my son and daughters-in-law rehearsal dinner due to reviews and immediate response by the general manager .They provided us with all necessary information on food, beverages, room, and pricing. Having never been to this restaurant before, it was easy to select everything online thanks to the general manager’s professionalism. The staff was very welcoming and professional. The restaurant was able to address late changes to additional people due to late arrival of some guests. Ability to adapt, kindness and understanding of the staff made us feel personal comfort . The food was outstanding and met all the variety of dietary needs. Service exceeded our expectations- we felt incredibly special. I would recommend this restaurant for any function due to their service excellence, cuisine, and atmosphere. Cannot wait to return to this restaurant -best in Richmond.

Had an Amazing dining experience at Bookbinders. The outdoor seating area is fantastic and so beautiful!! Service was excellent and the owner came around speaking with everyone too which was really nice. The food was phenomenal!!! The bread, the cooked oysters, the seafood, the key lime pie, and the dark chocolate pate were all so delicious! Some great mixed drinks. We were celebrating my birthday and they even personalized the menu for me. It is definitely my favorite restaurant in Richmond! Taking family there next time they come to visit. Parking was a little hard to find, but other than that I could not recommend this place any more!

Great restaurant!…. If it wasn’t so freaking expensive… Our table of 4 paid about $500 total with tip… the quality of the food was good, but not $500 good. Steak was just a decent steak; mashed potatoes, calamari, spinach, pork, and scallops were all just decent as well. Still, nothing was terrible; it just wasn’t good enough to justify the price. The exception to this was the crab-cake, which was phenomenal. If you’re going here, get that.
