Would recommend but with reservations…the wait time. I walked in and waited about 15 minutes before anyone even acknowledged me. It was fast getting seated, only about 10 minutes, and then a whole 30 minutes before our waiter even came to our table. Thank god she got our drinks and order in at the same time. After we got our food everything started going much more quickly. The food was good tho and I would return again.

The atmosphere is great. The food was good. The flavor was there. Needed some love. Mac&Chs needed more time to cook and was luke warm. Chicken breast was outstanding. Fried catfish was also very good. The collards weren't cooked long enough and no turkey neck utilized in the cooking process. The corn muffins were also excellent.

Always great food! Portions are good sized. Sides came out a bit on the cool side but the entrees were super hot! staff could have been a little more attentive. Unfortunately where we were sitting was also near a staff hub and all of the kitchen gossip and staff ongoings were on full display and well within earshot. Would have appreciated being checked on a little more but again great food and overall pretty quickly…. Just make sure the sides are as hot as the entrees!!
