Our experience was okay. The service started great until they got busy and we had an issue then we waited longer than we had liked. The muscles came highly recommended by the waitress but they were okay (had a funny smell and we are not sure if it is the sausage they had in the dish or what it was coming from). The taste was fine, wouldn't order them again. Both our steaks were a little undercooked and I had to send mine back. Drinks were different prices than the menu stated (close like within .50-$4) but not the prices stated. They had a special mule that had kiwi and it was amazing! The physical steaks were decent nothing special on flavor but texture was not up to the level of the last few places we have been. Atmosphere was nice it did have a much older crowd than I'd expected. Mac n cheese needed pepper and I know they got busy but we had to ask for it three times and it took a while to order our second round of drinks. It is a nice place and our friend says they love this place so maybe they can do better but we did not love our food experience.

We love this place! It’s great for a special anniversary/celebration or a girls night out. The food is always excellent and the service is some of the best we’ve experienced at a restaurant in the Springs. The chef gets it right every time! My husband and I celebrate our anniversary with dinner at Cowboy Star every year for the last 3 years and their attention to detail makes it so special…a red rose at the table, a card signed from the staff, etc. etc. As far as the food: The oysters are incredible and always fresh. If you order a steak make sure to add shrimp- they are just as delicious as the steak! We love the cauliflower and Brussels sprouts side dishes. Seasonal salads are delicious and their coffee is the best way to end the meal! You also can’t go wrong with an ultimate burger and a sangria for a girls night. Overall rating this place 5 stars!

Amazing Anniversary dinner! The steaks were so delicious! The service made our special dinner memorable with the anniversary menu, a rose and a card signed by the staff. Everyone wished us a happy anniversary. It was a great experience. And did I say they had Wagu steaks? They were seasoned wonderfully and cooked to perfection! Thank you all for an awesome experience!
