A couple things here deserve five stars, for sure. Like the ambiance and the setting and lord have mercy that coffee ice cream pie. My husband also really enjoyed his mean (which I believe was the catch of the day so I don’t remember exactly what it was) and I ordered the shrimp. I’m taking one star away because my shrimp was over cooked and therefore under-flavored. But we did get there really late in the evening and my husband got the very last catch of the day plate so I’m sure it was at the end of a long day and they just happened to overcook the shrimp that evening. I still ate all of them. Because I love shrimp and I was hungry. But that coffee ice cream pie deserves ten stars on its own. Get one and split it with someone because it’s massive!!

NOT AS ADVERTISED. Went here because of all the good reviews. But we were all quite disappointed. The fresh catch fish was dry. The remaining meals of fish tacos and a burger we so so at best. WAS WAY OVERPRICED. View of ocean was good. Waitress was rarely at our table. Had to ask for appetizer plates which were paper plates. We had the nachos which were decent. Had to wait over an hour to get seated. No reservations available. Won’t go back here. 7 below average meals cost $275 bucks. Simply not worth it.

I used to love Hugo’s and was so excited to go back but this time it was a big disappointment. We were waiting for the doors to open and was literally the second guest to be seated. The girl took our order for drinks pretty quickly. After she delivered the drinks we did not see her again until we approached her 40 minutes later to pay for the drinks. After 45 minutes of being seated our dinner order was never even put in. I understand about being short staffed but being the second two top in the door is no excuse.
