The staff at Island Lava Java are very professional, attentive to customers, knowledgeable about the menu and have positive attitudes. Always great when they have live music jam sessions. And you just can't beat having a delicious meal with views of the ocean. Island Lava Java is always busy, so consider making a reservation. Highly recommend the fish tacos and/or salads!!!

Great views of ocean while you eat/drink. Lovely guitarist playing island music during early lunch. Ambiance is dialed in here. Had a mocha and veg sandwich. Quality. Husband had a coffee drink too and a chicken sandwich, also quality. Service was excellent, great attention to detail. Would eat here again.

Wait time was great and the food was very good. But we sat at a table for almost an hour with no service. They got our order, brought us food quickly, and that was it. They didn’t even refill drinks or ask us how things were doing. Unfortunately, I think it was because we look like young travelers who won’t tip well but that is anything but that case. Even 30 minutes after my partner left I sat their alone waiting for the check or someone to stop by. Sad that’s how they treat some of their customers.
