Before moving to Hawaii I ate at a lot of wonderful Thai restaurants in Chicago, and pad Thai evokes fond memories -sweet and sour from the tamarind and fish sauce, a hint of peanut. You know what doesn’t come to mind? Runny soy sauce. This sauce seemed more soy-sauce based than like any pad Thai sauce I’ve ever had. The veggies were fresh and crisp, but the noodles were soggy. Maybe I’m missing something but I don’t understand the rave reviews.

This was some of the best Thai food I’ve ever had. Everything is cooked to order right in front of you with fresh ingredients - you can see the vegetables right there. The pad Thai was the best pad Thai I’ve ever had. Good vegetarian options with excellent tofu dishes.
