This is a Santa Fe icon! You cannot visit Santa Fe without eating here! It's a must! Their sopapilla's are the best I have ever had! Their dough is soft and tender but perfectly cooked to have the crispy buttery texture. They must change the fryer oil regularly because it doesn't leave behind any off putting flavors from other foods. The honey whipped butter that it is served with is so delicious you can eat it by itself. Slather on some extra honey and enjoy- you won't regret it! Oh and on a side note the staff and management are incredibly nice.

Best pork tamale I’ve ever had but the sauce on top was overpoweringly spicy! Same with the salsa. $3.95 for a tiny bowl of really spicy salsa & chips. Watermelon margarita had an odd taste I couldn’t put my finger on. $7.50 for a tequila old fashion that was obviously made with a premade mix. Maybe being from the Midwest were used to great old fashions but it was not good for that price. Maybe it’s a regional thing for everything to be extremely spicy but it really took away from the flavor of the dish and the experience to need to gulp down water with every bite.

My family came into town to visit Meow Wolf and we were hungry so we stopped here. It was so good. We had a party of 17 and we had to wait a while but the restaurant was able to accommodate us. We really enjoyed the food. Truly New Mexico.
